It's true, in today's global market you can get beautiful flowers almost anytime of year no matter what part of the country you live in. However spring still remains my absolute favorite season for flowers. It's a time of year when mother nature really unleashes her full beauty on the world. Laura and Tim's wedding was a stunner, and it didn't hurt that the venue is so beautiful. Their ceremony and reception both took place at the Simpson House, a gorgeous, historic spot in midtown Kansas City. Laura is so gorgeous as well, and she worked hard to collect tons of whisky bottles that we used as the containers for her and Tim's centerpieces. Thank you Laura and Tim for having us as part of your beautiful day. Images by emmy-ray and Mon Photography.
Laura's bouquet contained coral charm peonies, jasmine vine, sweet pea, astible, roses, and plenty more spring blooms. She wanted to keep the colors of her bouquet soft and pastel, while the bridesmaids bouquets were bright and colorful.
When I met with Laura for our initial consult, she mentioned that she'd love to incorporate citrus into the centerpieces somehow. Fun mini clementines added the perfect pop of orange to the reception pieces.
