I absolutely love throwing showers, bridal, baby, you name it. There's something so fun, and joyful about celebrating these important moments in the lives of friends and family. Plus it's an opportunity for a party, and we all know I do LOVE a good party. My friend Marissa is getting married this fall, so we decided to throw a fox/woodland themed bridal shower to celebrate. Putting this event together was so much fun, and I partnered with Chinet, using their cut crystal line of plates and cups to create fun, personalized dinnerware for the event.
Paper Source, one of my favorite stores, has a whole line of fox themed items out right now, including cards, papers, coasters, name tags, and more. This was our starting inspiration point for the decor. We used the fox note cards above as invites and printed our own details inside.
Guests were greeted at the door with these fun hand made pinwheels, using coordinating fox paper. All the flowers utilized the same color palette as the paper pieces, with oranges, reds, greens, and touches of textural blue. Wood stumps added to the woodland/rustic look, and sweet fox coasters were spread around for guests to use. Fox name tags were made to help un-familiar guest break the ice. So easy and cute!
A spread of delicious food was complimented by dinner ware from Chinet. Their cut crystal line of plates provided the perfect opportunity for personalization. Tomorrow I'll show you my step-by-step DIY to add a little something special to these products that allows them to coordinate with any occasion. Paper Source hand made papers in floral and chevron added the perfect decorative touch to the Chinet dinner and appetizer plates.
The menu included fresh fruit and veggies, caprese bruschetta, homemade ciabatta sandwiches, baked brie and strawberry preserves, and a fresh fruit gazpacho served in Chinet champagne flutes. For dessert Cupcake A La Mode, one of my favorite local businesses. These glasses were the perfect way to show off the beautifully colored layers of this appetizer, and a great size as well.
Guests were served fruit infused waters in citrus and raspberry, out of the Chinet cut crystal cups. We personalized with a monogram, and some coordinating washi tape. We added colorful striped paper straws too, one of my favorite go to party items.
I think everyone had a great time at our foxy bridal shower, especially Marissa, the bride to be!
