I'm never quite sure how much of my personal life to share on this blog. I've always alternated back and forth, and it actually started out as a purely for fun project. However over the years it's become mostly a means to share what's going on with my business. As things slow down, and I take a little time off from working, I think it only makes sense that what I write about reflects this season of my life. I was inspired by one of my favorite blogs, A Beautiful Mess, who started sharing Casual Friday posts which show candid, behind the scenes peeks at the everyday lives of the team. I love this idea.
Eleanor Pearl is growing up so crazy fast. I feel like it was only yesterday that she was born, and she's ten months old today. I'm sure that's how all moms feel, but it's true. We've been enjoying watching her grow, and experiencing everything for the first time through her eyes, including the seasons.
Fall is one of my favorites, and we took full advantage of it, visiting the pumpkin patch (more than one), taking lots of long walks, and collecting leaves, which was Eleanor's favorite. But not sitting in the leaves, obviously. I absolutely cannot wait until her first real snow when we can go outside and play and watch the flakes fall.
