Almost everytime I do a wedding, I feel like it's a new favorite. However Brooke and Thomas' day will probably remain in my top five forever. Not only was Brooke a dream to work with, but everything came together so beautifully, I can't take full credit. She's an artist in her own right, and while she had ideas about what she wanted, she gave me tons of creative freedom, which is how I work best. The ceremony backdrop was packed full of luscious greens, seeded eucalyptus, giant coral charm peonies, and garden roses. The arrangements were an eclectic mix of milk glass, and rustic metal containers, with ferns, clematis, dusty miller, and sweet smelling stock. Other than the decor the whole day was full of love and emotion, and I think that really comes through in the pictures. The ceremony and reception took place at Hawthorne House. Thanks to Brooke and Thomas for letting us be part of your day, and to Becca Spears Photography for the beautiful images.

Future brides take note, Brooke did her dessert table right. Six different flavors of delicious cake, all decorated differently. I wish I could've sampled every one!
For the ceremony we made a floral hair comb for the back of Brooke's updo, and then for the reception she wanted to switch it up into a fun floral crown.
