I've known Ashlee for a few years now. We met through friends of friends, including the talented Kelley, of Kelley Photo. She's such a sweetheart so I was of course excited when she contacted me to do her wedding flowers. The style she was looking for was a perfect fit for us. She'd already collected tons of her own milk glass vases for arrangements, and had created sweet vintage white frames with blue toile fabric to bring a touch of royal blue into her palette. DIY, my kind of girl! For her flowers she definitely wanted a touch of vintage charm, but also a loose, slightly wild feel to match their venue, her grandparents camp in rural Kansas. We used tons of different textures in hues of ivory and pale pink for her bouquet, and the bridesmaids had a bit more of a pop of bright color to go along with their navy dresses. A huge thank you to Ashlee and Brett for having us as part of their day, and to Leigh Miller Photography for the lovely images!
